NEMISA in partnership with the Department of Communications is hosting a Governance workshop for the Community Radio Sector in March 2012. The suitable and qualified facilitators in the areas identified below can forward their profile which includes the delivery of the programme.
Facilitator: Governance and Leadership - Polokwane
Learning outcomes: The business of Radio; leading in difficult times; excellence is a matter of attitude; radio value chain as it applies to all stakeholders and leadership habits.
Required: Minimum of 5 years experience as Station Manager or similar role; publications on the subject matter; experience in facilitating workshops;
Desired: Proven knowledge of community radio sector
Facilitator: Sales and Financial Sustainability - Polokwane
Learning outcomes: Calculation of return on investment; secrets of master sales people; create spots for maximum impact; apply proven leadership habits and learn ways to recruit the new and retain old customers.
Required: Minimum of 5 years experience in radio airtime sales or media sales management; publications on subject matter and experience in facilitating workshops.
Desired: Proven knowledge of community radio sector
Facilitator: Hi-Performance Team Management and Motivation - Polokwane
Learning outcomes: Examining strategies for nurturing and improving staff motivation; learn characteristics that build a hi-performance radio team; learn to conduct performance management according to key result areas and facilitate skills development that enables career development.
Required: Minimum of 5 years experience in managing high performance teams; publications on subject matter; proven knowledge of community radio sector; experience in facilitating workshops and experience in volunteer or NGO environment.
