Description: The purpose of this qualification is to equip learners for the world of work in radio broadcasting. The course prepares you for roles in research, operation of studio equipment, producing all formats from features to music shows, scriptwriting, interview techniques and a host of vital radio roles. Above all it provides access to formal qualification.

 Who it’s for: Anybody who wants to prepare for a career in radio broadcasting.

 Exit Level Outcomes:

Operating within legislative frameworks within radio sector

Building a resource network for radio production

Generating and pitching ideas for broadcast

Writing scripts for radio

Producing “live” and “studio recorded” programs

Operating studio and field recording and production equipment

Editing and multi track mixing

Presenting radio shows

Interview guests, panels and content providers

Pre requisites: The following learning is assumed to be in place before enrolling
